Description
Unlike other systems, the GXP system does not rely on a lateral load when adjusting the bearing play, but the left-hand bearing is clamped between the bottom bracket axle and the left-hand crank arm. This leaves the right-hand bearing free to move axially on the bottom bracket axle. This prevents premature bearing wear.
